Grupo de Ecología en Ambientes Costeros

I am a CONICET doctoral fellow. My project focuses on studying the ecological and evolutionary processes that structure populations of the crab Cyrtograpsus angulatus in the Lower Chubut River Valley, using an integrative approach based on the study of population dynamics, reproductive biology, and genetic diversity. In the context of biological invasions, my undergraduate thesis integrated genetic and morphological analyses to understand the invasion and expansion dynamics of the European green crab, an invasive species that threatens coastal ecosystems.
