Funding
As undergrad, Dr. Alejandro Bortolus was supported (as PI) by the American Museum of Natural History (USA), International Foundation for Science (IFS, Sweden) and the Antorchas Fundation (Argentina). Later on in his career he received support from the National Geographic Society, GEF-PNUD, MINCyT, and CONICET among others.
As undergrad, Dr. Evangelina Shwindt was supported (as PI) by the Lerner Gray Fund for Marine Research of the American Museum of Natural History (USA) and The Percy Sladen Memorial Fund of The Linnean Society of London. Later on in her career she received support from the National Geographic Society, GEF-PNUD, MINCyT, and CONICET among others.
